Orange County Council Boy Scouts of California
The objective of the National Eagle Scout Association is to serve Eagle Scouts, and through them, the entire movement of Scouting.
Our Committee focuses on serving the needs of the Eagle Scouts of the Orange County Council of BSA in Orange County, California. Our mission is to recognize Scouts who have attained the Eagle Scout rank and to engage Eagle Scouts to actively support Scouting in Orange County throughout their lives.
Our Calendar and Roles and Responsibilities documents describe our cadence of activities and positions for which we seek volunteers.
We have also created a Facebook group for Orange County alumni Eagle Scouts. Please join it so that we can get your feedback on topics important to our committee and so that we can notify you of upcoming events.

At the Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner, we celebrate the previous year’s class of Orange County Council’s Eagle Scouts, Quartermasters and Venturing Silver Award recipients. Held in the spring, typically at one of Orange County’s finest hotel ballrooms, the Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner provides the county’s Scout leaders and local business leaders a chance to sponsor (host) an Eagle Scout, Quartermaster or Venturing Silver recipient. This can include inviting them to visit the sponsor’s place of business as well as accompanying them to the dinner.
Scout-O-Rama is the annual trade show of Scouting in Orange County that is attended by over 30, 000 people. Scouts and their families enjoy a fun-filled day of exhibits, competitions and displays. The NESA Committee staffs a booth where Eagle Scouts can meet, talk and refresh. The committee also serves the event as booth judges, selecting the best booths in the show.
Each year we look to the County we serve to invite men who have earned the Eagle rank to join with us at a popular county facility for a meeting and social activity to help us all renew our commitment as Eagle Scouts to serve our youth and our community.
